Abu Dhabi, November 22, 2024 – Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the United Arab Emirates, Najmedin Mukhametaliuly met with the UAE Ministers of Tolerance and Coexistence Sheikh Nahayan and Mubarak Al Nahayan, and presented him with the Medal of Honor from the Congress of World and Traditional Religious Leaders for their significant contribution to the promotion of interfaith dialogue.
During the meeting, the parties discussed common vision and collaboration to promote the ideas of peaceful coexistence and tolerance.
Sheikh Nahayan and Mubarak Al Nahayan, the leaders of World and Traditional Religions have emphasized the impact of spiritual leaders in addressing pressing issues in the current geopolitical situation, highlighting the significant role of the Congress at the global level.
In his turn, Ambassador of Kazakhstan Najmedin Mukhametaliuly expressed Kazakhstan’s firm position to strengthen inter-ethnic and interfaith harmony and noted the achievements of the UAE in promoting the values of tolerance and peaceful coexistence.
In addition, the diplomat of Kazakhstan is currently under the initiative “Kazakhstan Born Bold” by the President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev, and that this action contributes to the diversification of Kazakhstan’s economy, reducing dependence on traditional sectors, as well as in new industries of the country, from artificial intelligence and technology to renewable energy and finance He said that he would help to strengthen his position as a leader.
