AIFC to promote in Dubai the investment in Kazakhstan

Dubai: The Astana International Financial Centre (AIFC) is delighted to announce the forthcoming AIFC Connect: UAE 2024 event, scheduled to take place on May 28 at 09:00 at Shangri-la Dubai, Sheikh Zayed Road.

AIFC Connect represents a series of outreach events across major financial hubs, aimed at spotlighting the investment potential of Kazakhstan and raising awareness regarding the opportunities provided by the Astana International Financial Centre.

The AIFC will provide insights into Kazakhstan’s economic significance in Central Asia, the unique offerings of AIFC and the appealing options for UAE investors.

The event will feature keynote speech by renowned expert, two panel discussions (each lasting up to one hour), coffee breaks and a networking lunch session to conclude, offering opportunities for professional connections and engagement.

Since its official launch in 2018, the Centre has made significant strides in establishing itself as a distinctive financial hub in Central Asia.

Presently, more than 2700 companies from 78 countries operate within the AIFC, with investments totaling 11,4 billion U.S. dollars having been attracted through the AIFC to the economy of Kazakhstan. AIFC serves as a catalyst for attracting investments into the Kazakhstani economy, bolstering the country’s financial sector, including the stock market, and promoting integration with international capital markets, facilitating the development of Islamic and sustainable finance, among other initiatives.
